If you’d like a printed copy of these materials, call MHS Member Services, 1-877-647-4848, and ask for one to be mailed.
CareINsite was developed by the Indiana Hospital Association using data reported to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Indiana State Department of Health. The data on this website includes important hospital quality measures including patient satisfaction, readmissions, infection, death, birthing outcomes and hospital charges. All hospitals report data in the same way, making it easy to compare among hospitals and even between states.
Hospital Compare was created through the efforts of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in collaboration with organizations representing consumers, hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, and other federal agencies. It provides information about the quality of care at over 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals across the country.
