Provider Access Application Programming Interface (API)
With your permission, your health plan can securely share important digital health data with your providers. Your data is shared with your provider’s electronic health record system using the Provider Access Application Programming Interface (API).

This API gives your care team access to data that can streamline and support your care.

What Can Be Shared

With your consent, you can share:

• Medical claims and visit history
• Clinical data, including conditions, tests, and medications
• Prior authorization status for non-drug services and items

How to Manage Your Data Sharing Preferences

You can update your data sharing preferences through the member portal using the Provider Access Consent Management System or by calling the Member Services number on your ID card.
