Hoosier Healthwise provides health and medical coverage to children and pregnant women in Indiana. Based on family income, children up to age 19 may be eligible for coverage.
Ambetter from MHS
The Health Insurance Marketplace is an online shopping mall of healthcare plans. MHS' plan is called Ambetter from MHS. Ambetter offers affordable health care coverage for individuals and families. Depending on your family size and income, you may even qualify for help to pay your monthly premium.
Allwell from MHS
Allwell is a Medicare Advantage plan for people who are eligible for Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B or Medicare and Medicaid. Allwell plans are designed to give you affordable healthcare coverage, coverage for prescription drugs and extra benefits that aren’t covered by Medicare Part A or Part B (Original Medicare).
Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP)
The Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) is a health insurance program for qualified adults. It pays for medical costs for members and can include, dental, vision and chiropractic coverage. It also rewards members for taking better care of their health. The plan covers Hoosiers ages 19 to 64 who meet specific income levels.
Hoosier Care Connect
Hoosier Care Connect is a coordinated care program for members age 65 and over, or with blindness or a disability, who are residing in the community and are not eligible for Medicare. Hoosier Care Connect members will receive all Medicaid-covered benefits in addition to care coordination services.
