Ambetter from MHS - Glossary and Resources

At Ambetter from MHS, we use a lot of words when we talk about your health care.

We might talk about coinsurance. That is the portion of costs you pay once you meet your deductible. Your deductible is the set cost you have to pay for certain services each year before Ambetter starts to pay.

We also might refer to the formulary. That is the list of prescriptions drugs a plan covers. We might also call it a preferred drug list or PDL.

You may also see the terms network or in-network. Those refer to the places, providers and suppliers we partner with to give you healthcare services.
