DME Reminder

As previously announced, the Medline Portal has been discontinued. Effective January 1, 2023, any MHS DME participating provider is eligible to render services to MHS members. Providers are reminded to review the Prior Authorization guidelines available on mhsindiana.com.

MHS would like to remind providers about changes related to Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Non-Participating DME providers require prior authorization on all services. Prior Authorization requests must be submitted by the ordering physician. All requests should be faxed directly to MHS at 866-912-4245.

Providers interested in joining the MHS network should visit mhsindiana.com to submit a request for network participation. Participation is contingent on enrollment with Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP).

There are no changes to DME items currently being supplied by physician offices or hospitals.
