PROVIDER NOTICE: ENHANCED VISION BENEFIT PROGRAM ENDING

Managed Health Services (MHS) provides health coverage for members enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise, the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), and Hoosier Care Connect.

Effective October 1, 2026, MHS will discontinue the enhanced vision benefit program. Vision services will align with standard Medicaid coverage, including updated limitations such as glasses frequency and elimination of the contact lens allowance.

This change follows an annual program review to ensure alignment with benefit utilization and program value. Providers should continue to verify member eligibility and benefits and deliver services in accordance with Medicaid guidelines.
