National Social Worker Month
Date: 03/18/26
During March, we celebrate National Social Workers Month. According to the National Association of Social Workers, Indiana Chapter, more than 650,000 people currently hold some type of social work degree in Indiana and the field is estimated to continue to grow.
Social workers aid in helping individuals and families thrive in their community. They help navigate through difficult life challenges, including chronic disease, addiction, unemployment, disability, housing, food insecurity, and more. Social workers can be found in hospitals, schools and here at MHS.
MHS is proud to have social workers as a vital part of our team, helping our members through various challenges to improve their overall health and wellness. We are celebrating the great work our social worker team does here every day, but especially this month! Thank you, social workers!
