MHS to No Longer Accept PMP Change/Update Faxes Effective 11/1/18

MHS will no longer accept or process incoming faxes regarding requests for primary medical provider (PMP) changes and/or updates effective 11/1/2018.

We have two options for you to ensure the correct provider is assigned to your patient. The first is to inform the member to update their provider through MHS’ secure portal at mhsindiana.com/login or to call our Member Services Department Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 1-877-647-4848.

You may also request members to be placed on your panel if it is on hold or full through the provider portal at mhsindiana.com/provider/login. The forms are located on the right hand side of the homepage under “Quick Links” and are labeled as “Member Management Forms.” If you need further assistance with this there is a job aide located on the mhsindiana.com website under the “MHS Secure Provider Portal Training Documents.”
