MHS rewards members for healthy behaviors with our CentAccount rewards program. As an MHS member, you can earn rewards that will be applied to your CentAccount card by completing your health needs assessment, getting regular check-ups and exams, and more.
The CentAccount rewards card is accepted at CVS, Rite Aid, Dollar General, Walmart and Family Dollar. It can be used to buy things like groceries, baby care items and personal items as well as over-the-counter drugs like cough medicine and pain relief. All MHS members are eligible for a CentAccount card. If the member is a child, the card will be issued in their name and sent to their address.
You will receive a card in the mail within 2 weeks of becoming an MHS member.
Yes, you must activate your card within 60 days of receipt. To activate it, go to myotccard.com or call 1-888-682-2400.
Simply swipe your card during checkout at a participating location.
- You do not need a pin number to use your card.
- Your card works the same way a gift card works.
- You cannot use your card as a credit card, debit card or at an ATM.
You can use your card at these locations:
- Dollar General
- Family Dollar
- Rite Aid Pharmacy
You can buy baby care items, healthy groceries, paper goods, over-the-counter medicines and personal care items. Log into your secure portal account for a complete list.
No. Copays are an out-of-pocket expense and cannot be paid with your card.
Yes! You will be able to purchase items that are not covered and those that are during the same transaction using two different forms of payment.
That’s ok! Any remaining balance will remain on your card. You can use it for future purchases.
Please call MHS Member Services at 1-877-647-4848. A replacement card costs five dollars ($5). This charge will be taken out of your CentAccount rewards. If you do not have enough rewards, the charge will be taken out when a new reward is added.
It depends on the type of reward. Some, like the annual visit reward, are based on claims sent to us by your provider. These can take up to four months to appear on your card. Other rewards will be added sooner.
You can get a reward for yearly check-ups and health screenings for children or adults once each calendar year. For example, if you get a reward for a yearly check-up in 2018, you will not get that reward again until your checkup in 2019.
Programs like tobacco cessation and disease management depend on the number of times they can be earned per calendar year. Check your Member Handbook for those numbers.
There are two ways to find out your balance:
- Log into your secure member portal account.
- Call Member Services at 1-877-647-4848.
All rewards expire one year from the date they were put on your card.
If you don’t earn any rewards or use your card for a year, the card will become inactive. Or, if you do not activate your card within 60 days of getting it in the mail.
