May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. MHS wants children and families to get outside and have fun together!

One-third of children and two-thirds of adults are overweight or obese. That’s according to Let’s Move. Let’s Move is a program started by First Lady Michelle Obama to help families get active.

MHS celebrates National Minority Health Month in April! This month raises awareness about health disparities that affect racial and ethnic minorities.

The theme this year is “Prevention is Power.” It highlights the role of prevention, to help reduce health disparities. It is a call-to-action for all of us to work to improve the health of our communities.
