MHS will be hosting a Healthy Celebration on June 19, 2013, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at Northshore Health Center, located at 6901 Broadway Merrillville, IN.
For this special event, MHS is partnering with Northshore Health Center and its pediatricians to offer well-child visits (check-ups) and age-appropriate children’s immunizations for MHS members with a scheduled appointment.

Read More...Project Home Indy will prepare for its first residents with a Pancake Breakfast to gather needed supplies, featuring guest speaker Charrie Buskirk.
The Pancake Breakfast took place this morning, Thursday, October 27 from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at The Propyleaum, located at 1410 N. Delaware Street. Attendees were asked to bring one of the following donation items: diapers, paper towels, wipes, toilet paper or laundry detergent. The featured speaker will be Public Health Administrator of Women’s Health Charrie Buskirk from the Indiana State Department of Health.
Read More...MHS is participating in the Habitat for Humanity Program as a 2011 House Sponsor. And on Friday, September 30, MHS will sponsor its third annual Habitat build!
As a House Sponsor, MHS provides the financing as well as the volunteers to help with the home construction. Half of the MHS volunteer team will work from 7:30-11:30 a.m. building the new one-story home at 827 N. Tacoma St. while the other half will work from 12:15-4 p.m.
