“Conditionally eligible” means your application for HIP is approved. But, your first monthly payment is not paid yet. If you have to make a monthly payment, a bill is sent to your home within 3 days of your HIP application being approved.

These members must make their first monthly payment within 60 days of being approved for HIP. After the first payment is made, coverage begins the first day of the following month.

Read More...On August 1, the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) began sending letters to 8,000 Hoosiers on the childless adult waitlist. The letter asks applicants to reapply to the Healthy Indiana Plan. After eligibility is confirmed, he or she will be accepted to the Healthy Indiana Plan. The letters will be released first to those who have been on the waitlist the longest.

Read More...MHS recently launched its Children with Special Needs Unit, developed to improve members’ access to services and integration of care and to support their family’s planning for complex challenges.
MHS’s Children with Special Needs Unit brings experienced professionals with varied backgrounds together as a team to address the complex needs of individual members. The program provides case management to families with children who have difficult medical problems and will benefit from team care – including children with autism, developmental disabilities, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, immune deficiencies and other chronic illnesses.
