Healthy Indiana Plan
MHS is pleased to announce that it now serves the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP). HIP is a health program for the uninsured between the ages of 19 and 64.
Covered services for HIP include: physician services, prescriptions, diagnostic exams, home health services, outpatient hospital, inpatient hospital, hospice, preventive services, family planning, and behavioral health.
HIP coverage lasts for one year. After one year, members must re-certify and fill out the necessary paperwork to continue in the plan for another 12 months.
HIP Contributions / POWER Account
Some HIP members contribute to the cost of their healthcare by paying monthly premiums into a Personal Wellness and Responsibility (POWER) Account. Learn more…
