MHS Presents Flippenout Trampoline Show at the 2012 Indiana State Fair

MHS will participate in this year’s Indiana State Fair as a sponsor of “Flippenout: Extreme Trampoline Show,” along with an educational booth throughout the Fair’s 17-day run August 3-19.

Flippenout is a team of top athletes including Olympic medalists, national champions and top-tier show professionals. Their extreme trampoline shows feature twisting triple flips, complex acrobatic routines, heights of 25 feet or more, snowboards, skis and cirque-like action off the only transparent wall in the world used in trampoline shows.

MHS a Sponsor of American Lung Association 2012 Healthy Lung Expo

MHS is sponsoring the American Lung Association’s (ALA) 2012 Healthy Lung Expo, a comprehensive lung-health educational conference taking place on Thursday, May 31 at the Indianapolis Marriott North.

This second annual Healthy Lung Expo is a one-day conference with two separate tracks — one targeting lung health patients and their families and one targeting lung health professionals. The patient education program features COPD, lung cancer and asthma sessions for patients and caregivers; the professional education program offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for nurses and respiratory therapists.

MHS and Radio Disney “Adopt A School” to Teach Students about Healthy Living

Radio Disney is partnering with MHS to “adopt a school” and teach students in Evansville about healthy living through a “rockin’ recess” party.

“Rosie’s Rockin’ Recess” takes place on Thurs., May 17 at 10:45 a.m. at Caze Elementary School, located at 2013 S. Green River Road in Evansville. The event brings the Radio Disney Road Crew along with MHS mascot RosieRoo to Caze Elementary for a variety of student activities, including hula hoop challenges, dance offs and jump rope contests, to show kids how they can get exercise while they play.
