MHS Sponsors Project Home Indy Mother’s Day Tea Fundraiser

MHS is sponsoring Project Home Indy’s Mother’s Day Tea Fundraiser to honor and pamper those special women in our lives — moms, grandmas, sisters, aunts and friends who are both mentors and role models.

The Tea takes place tomorrow Saturday, May 12 from 2-4 p.m. in Rooms 133 and 134 of the Indiana Convention Center, located at 100 South Capitol Avenue in Indianapolis. The fundraising event’s keynote speaker will be Indianapolis Star columnist Matthew Tully.

“With this special Mother’s Day Tea Fundraiser, we are asking area residents to support our work at Project Home Indy to help the pregnant teen moms and children we serve become self-sufficient and stable heads of their own households,” said Project Home Indy Board President Christina Koennecke. “At Project Home Indy, our residents are finishing their education and learning to be good moms, which we want to celebrate with this event.”
